20 lakhs loan to start a business If you are planning to start your own business then there is good news for you. The Modi government will now provide a loan of Rs 20 lakh without guarantee to start a business under the Mudra Yojana. Earlier, a loan of 10 lakh rupees was available under this. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given this information.
In fact, the Reserve Bank’s Committee of Experts on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has recommended this. RBI has constituted an eight-member committee for economic and financial stability of MSMEs.
Special Points Regarding Mudra Loans:
This committee has given its report to the Reserve Bank. 20 lakh loan for starting a business while the report states that for MSMEs and self-help groups Rs. 20 lakhs loan was recommended, the committee fixed the currency loan limit at Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakh was recommended.
What is Mudra Loan Scheme?
Launched in the year 2015, the scheme aims to provide small business loans to small entrepreneurs without any collateral. Under this scheme, anyone can take a loan to start their own business.
– The best thing about this scheme is that under it you get loan without collateral. Also, there is no processing charge for the loan.
– The loan beneficiary gets a Mudra card, with the help of which the merchant can pay the expenses incurred through this card as per requirement.
These loans can be availed by applying to commercial banks, regional rural banks, small finance banks, cooperative banks, microfinance institutions and non-banking financial companies.
How much loan can get?
So far 3 types of loans are available under Mudra Yojana. Under first child loan Rs. 50,000 is given. Loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh are given under the second Kishore loan. So under the latest Yuva Loans, loans ranging from Rs 5 Lakh to Rs 10 Lakh are given. But now this limit has been increased to 20 lakh rupees.
