What is e Shram Card? And the benefits of e Shram Card.

In fact, the target has been set to add 30 crore workers. Government of India to collect information of unorganized workers of unorganized sector and gather all labor database at one place, workers covered under this portal like construction workers, migrant workers, platform artists, street vendors, domestic workers, agricultural workers and other organized workers. Such people who cannot avail the benefit of any scheme. Because it is not possible to know. Under this scheme, e-labor card will be issued by the government after e-labor card registration. Any laborer will be able to directly benefit from the schemes and the government will also take different measures, they will have a database of workers.

E-shram Portal

The government has created this e-labor portal to collect the information of all these unorganized laborers in which the unorganized laborers have to register the e-labor card in that portal and upload the required documents like Aadhaar card, proof of income, etc. Bank passbook etc. And after filling all those details it will become e-labor card.

1. aadhar card
2. Bank Passbook

4. Electricity bill
5. Mobile number should be linked with Aadhaar number

Who can apply for e-shram card?

✔️ Age should be between 16-59 years

✔️ Should not be a member of EPFO or ESIC

✔️ Should not be an income tax payer

✔️ Must be working in unorganized sector
