The National Health Authority Agency of the Central Government has launched a new program Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission 2023. Digitization of health facilities will be done under this programme/scheme. Under this mission, a health database of the citizens of all the states will be prepared, so that the citizens of the country can get all kinds of services and facilities related to this mission.

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission 2023

This scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 21 September 2021 through video conferencing. Under this mission, citizens across the country will be able to create their own Ayushman Bharat health account number, which will link their digital health records.

Citizens of the country will be provided with a digital health ID card, which will have all their health databases.
This scheme was first implemented in six union territories, now it has been implemented all over India.
Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is a flagship scheme of India, which was launched during the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

Features of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission 2023

Health ID:

Health ID will be issued to every citizen which will simultaneously act as their health account.
This health account will have details of every test, every illness, doctor’s visit, medicines, and diagnosis.
Health ID is free. It will help in analyzing health data and help in better planning, budgeting and implementation for health programmes.

Health Care Facilities and Professional Registries (HPR and HFR)

  • Other components of the Ayushman Bharat digital mission are the HPR (Healthcare Professionals Registry) and the HFR (Health Facility Registry), allowing easy electronic access to medical professionals and health infrastructure.
  • The HPR system of medicine includes both modern and traditional health medicine.
  • The HFR database will have records of all the health facilities in the country.

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission 2023 One Nation One Card

One Nation One Card has been issued under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, which is a health card. It is just like Aadhaar card in which 14 digit number will be generated. In this, the complete details of the patient’s health are stored digitally. Now there is no need for any patient to take reports or slips to the hospital.

The doctor will be able to know the complete medical history of the patient, what disease he had and from where he had got treatment etc. They will not need to show any report to the doctor. Patients will be able to get treatment anywhere in the country with a unique health ID card.

PM Modi Health ID Card Application Process 2023

Online application for Prime Minister Health ID card can be done through its official website only. For which you must first go to the website of PM Health ID.

  • To get a Health ID card, first of all you have to go to the home page of its official website.
  • Click on the Create Health ID option on the home page of the Health ID Card official website.
  • When you click on the Create Health ID option, you will again come to a new page, where you will have to choose the Create your health id option.
  • After clicking on the above option, a new page will open in front of you, on the new page you will get two options to generate Health ID (ABHA number).
       1. First base number.
       2. Second Driving Licence.
  • You can select both the options here, if you want to generate from your Aadhaar card number, then select the Aadhaar option, and if you want to generate through driving license, then select it.
  • We have given an example of Aadhaar option here, for this you click on the option in front of Aadhaar option. After that click on Next option.
  • Now on the next page, Aadhaar number has to be written, and by ticking on the I Agree option, fill the captcha code and click on the Next option.
  • On the new page, you will have to verify an OTP, after that the Health ID form will open in front of you. Fill all the information asked here carefully.
  • After filling the form, fill the captcha code and press the submit button, in this way your health ID number will be generated.

How to login with Health ID card number?

  • To login with Health ID number, you must first go to its official website https://nha.gov.in/.
  • On its home page, you have to go to (click on) Create Helth ID option.
  • After this select the login option on the new page, you will come to the login page.
  • You will get two options for login here, first is your health ID number and second is registered mobile number.
  • You can select either of the two options here, after verifying the OTP, you will come to the health ID dashboard.
  • In this way you will be able to access the services related to it on its dashboard.

How to login to the Public Dashboard of Health ID

To login to the public dashboard of Health ID, one has to first visit the official website of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission https://abdm.gov.in/.
On the home page, you click on the Public Dashboard option.
Now the public dashboard of Ayushman Health ID will open in front of you.
You will now be able to access various information related to Ayushman Digital Healthcard on the dashboard.

How to download ABHA mobile application?

  • To download the official mobile application of Ayushman Digital Mission, first you visit its official website.
  • Click on the ABHA App option on the home page of the official website of Ayushman Digital Mission.
  • Now on the new page you will get the option to install the mobile application. You click on the Install option here.
  • After clicking on the option of install, now its official application will be installed on your mobile.

How to register Grievance on Ayushman Digital Portal?

  • To register complaint on Ayushman Digital Portal first its official website.
  • On the home page, click on the Registry Your Grievance / IT Incident option. After clicking on the option, you will come to a new page.
  • On the new page you will have to provide some information. Such as – Type of Grievance > You are enrolled under Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission > Name > Mobile Number > Email Id > Your State Name > Email Id > State > District > Address > Relation of Grievance > Detailed Description of Grievance.
  • After this you will have to upload the documents related to it.
  • Finally click on the submit option.
  • In this way your complaint / grievance will be registered. Here you will get a complaint number, which you keep safe with you, later you can know the status of your complaint.
